Post subject:  Help needed please

Hi, I am a Wigan fan and I fancy making a weekend trip when we play you in a couple of weeks. I stayed over for the weekend a couple of weeks ago when we played Hull FC and loved Hull. The problem is I cant find any B&Bs near to the ground. Does anyone know of any? Thanks guys :D

Can't think of any B&B's near the ground, there's the one Sarah Ferguson (ex Princess) stayed at East-Thorpe Guest House, but your probably best staying in the city centre area at somewhere which has parking ie. Premier Inn , so that you are within easy reach of everything.

Is that the on owned by Mick Willo (Crown Holderness road)?.
It would be ideal as it is only a five or six minute taxi ride :MOTOR: away from the ground, plus its realy handy for busses into the city centre should you wish to venture there the night before the game. or if you wish to stay local, there are are two or three pubs :DRUNK: within a short walking distance including one right opposite the B&B (The crooked billet). :D

i'd say east thorpe guest house. not even that long a walk. i know plenty who walk that distance most home games. (Not a great plan if its raining) but only 20 minutes half hour on foot. plenty of boozers near there, billet, 4 in hand, the mill, crown. plus buses into town if needed

Isnt it up for sale?

P.S. are you that lazy that you'd taxi it from billet?

Up for let. Mick Willo is taking over an exclusive new wine bar on the Marina. Cant see it been that exclusive when his Crown regulars follow him there. :D

Anything along the lines off crown it will be full of 16/17yr olds, p1ss poor pints, expensive for the area and a complete joke. (allegedly/rumours/hear say of course  )

Will be very exclusive your correct RBA - because no one apart from the above would want to venture into there!

Its not a case of been lazy, after a few pints of falling down water :DRUNK: (i cant take it these days) i would probably end up doing something like that old women did recently, you know!, the one that swam the English Channel, but instead of doing the twenty miles in a straight line she ended up meandering all over the place and by the time she got to France she'd swam between two and three times the distance.
