Serious question. What was the extent of the dispensation given to Rovers regarding quota spots and is this still ongoing?

Well seeing as the RFL gave all players who were contracted to any SL club before 1 feb 08 a facility to become fed trained it is the case that we have no more or less of a dispensation than you do.

vella, newton, webster, galea were playing for rovers before the new rule came in so they dont count on the quota like manu but once a player signs for another team then the rule dosent count and will count on the quota.

This is where it becomes a grey area because origionally they said the fed trained staus would stay with the player even if they moved clubs.
I have yet to see any statment from the RFL saying otherwise (Not saying there isn't 1 just that I havent seen it).

not sure i thought once the player moved clubs he then would count on the teams quota but like i say not sure but the rfl are idiots always make things complicated and are never clear in what they do.

I definatly saw a quote where it was started that the player kept the new classification even if they moved clubs.
