Followed by the A class group in the under 18's in an even more entertaining game. Ended Rovers 24 Wigan 20. Long second half due to a number of stoppages and injuries. Some fine prospects in this age group.

Pity it couldn't have been a double header against dull's under 18's but it's the RLF rules that A grade play A grade and C grade scrap it out with other basement dwellers :D

As in an under 15 and 16 teams....yes.

In fact two of the players turning out for the 18's today are eligible to play 16's.

Not sure still waiting for a player to come through Rovers youth and make a impact on SL.

Your best 2 young players are a kid from Wigan on loan and a young signed from Cas (who is going to be some player).

To make your youth work, you need to bring some players through, you havent done that yet.

I imagine you will mention the fact that you havent been in SL that Long, but it hasnt stopped teams like Widnes, Leigh and Fev etc from prodcing SL players.

Your under 18's are good, you have some great players in that group, suprised like Hull you dont move some of your top players like Bell etc into the under 20's.

Hull could have a great under 18's teams if they played Lyne, Williams, Crooks Bowden and J Briscoe, but choose to play them in the under 20's in a better standard to improve them, results for the acamedy teams arent very important it's about getting the players to SL standard.
