The Life For a Kid Foundation will be staging a fantastic double header of touch rugby league on Sunday 18th July at Hull RUFC, Hull Sports centre in Hull.
Life For a Kid’s charity rugby team the Great Britain Rugby League All Stars will roll in to town to take on the Great Britain Fire Brigade team for the Michael Poole Trophy,
The Un beaten All Stars will feature a team of ex professionals including former GB Internationals Paul Newlove, Jason Critchley and Graeme Hallas.
Before the main game British Gas All Stars will take on Hull Boys Club All Stars for the Hallmark Hotel Trophy in a real retro game from two of the best Junior clubs to come out of the City of Hull, now the players of both teams are 20 years older and a few pounds heavier but the passion and rivalry is still there.

Both games are raising money for Hull toddler Michael Poole who has only 10% of his brain capacity after been caught in a Hull house fire. The Life For a Kid Foundation are staging the game to help buy Michael a Specially designed Bean Bag.

A few other special moments will occur on the day Michael Poole’s daddy Kevin Hall will play for the GB All Stars along with James Flintham who will captain the team, James was helped by the Life For a Kid Foundation after the charity raised funds towards James representing Great Britain in the World Transplant games in Sydney.

The GB Fire Brigade will also include the Fire Fighter who rescued Michael Poole from the House Fire.
As well as all the above the Life For a Kid Foundation will present Ryan Towle with a Specially designed BMX Style Trike.

Ryan Towle is 13yrs old and lives in North Hull. Ryan was born with right erbs palsy, (paralysis to the right arm) due to medical negligence at birth. Ryan has had 4 operations to try to recover use and now has about 30% use of the arm. At 18months Ryan was diagnosed with autism and learning difficulties. He went to mainstream primary school and now attends a special needs school.
