I saw the Welsh outfit close up at Murreyfield where they were very impressive against a disapointing Bradford Bulls who had bossed Rovers just 6 days earlier.
Yesterday on the box although some of their attacking play was smart, defensively they were awful and at times played like strangers.
Sammut will be a threat and Witts kicking game will need to be closed down.
They have some big forwards too.
But im confident the break will have done Rovers good and think Rovers will win on Sunday.

Thoughts

Rovers will have had two weeks to re-group and do some soul searching. I am not expecting to see a vintage performance but certainly a vast improvement in what we have seen recently with more vigour and direction.
If, as Scott Murrell stated, we still see ourselves as top 4 candidates then we have to get the better of sides like Crusaders who although well drilled do not posess the calibre of player that we do. Could be a close one though.

That's what I hope. Been a bad slump, and just not sure where the corner is. Rovers need to find a way to score points - it doesn't get much more fundamental than that.

With regards scoring points, is it time to put Scotty back to looseman and Galea into the second row to give our attack a bit more of familiarity about it?

They were awful in defence and showed some really poor discipline yesterday but, in Witt and Sammut they've got players that if they fire will give a lot of defences problems. The two props looked good as well.

Hopefully a well drilled Rovers side should have too much for them, it's still a little early in their development and as has already been mentioned they played like strangers at times. The Sammut/Thackeray foul up being just one such instance.

One hundred per cent yes. I really wish Morgan would hold his hands up and admit that Murrell at hooker is just not working.

been saying all season to put scotty back at loose and ben back in the second row. also wouldnt mind seeing kris welham on the wing whilst colbon is out although i realise charlie has been one of the only players to come out of the last few games with any credit

I'd like to see Murrell back at lf, especially if this is Galea's last year. SM at hooker has been given good go now. He'll always be an option there and could maybe do a spell there some games, freeing up a bench spot. But I'd be happier with a specialist hooker and Murrell back in what looks his best position.
