Not an International, never going to win popularity stakes with opposition fans and is a bit of a bad lad.
But my god he always puts his heart and soul into the shirt, penalties and all. Only one at the moment showing pride and endeaver. Love to see him behind the sticks giving it large to the team as Vella seems not too. His heart Im sure would burst with pride and thats what we are lacking.
eel free to shoot me down, but thats what I feel at the moment.

Not at all, he would definately put some much needed passion into the role, Vella is crap at it IMO.

He should be behind bars, not on a rugby pitch with an arm band!!
Your probably right on the jail thing, but we are concerned about our team and he is the only one who shows any passion about the shirt and should be given the armband.

Agree personally dont like the guy , but if all your other players had his passion you would'nt lose the way you have been.

Is he really the kind of guy you want representing the club - is he really the positive life-style image you want to project when trying to recruit young kids to the game in your area.
Add to that the captain should be one of the better players - Cockayne would struggle to get in almost any SL side - he is average at best - a NL1 player if ever there was
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
