My only real gripe with Silverwood is that he seems to become the focal point of the match. However, if his decisions are right you can't really complain even if it does kill the flow of the game.

I used to really dislike Silverplank, because a) as Bobbin' Along says, he used to make the game all about him, and b) he used to wear the most incredibly tight shorts, you could tell if he'd been circumcised (he hasn't, my mate who stands next to me checked, I averted my eyes).

However, last season he seemed to loosen up a bit and actually put in quite a few decent displays. Around the same time he started favouring a much more generous cut of short. Coincidence? I think not.

The moral of the story is, if you want to be a decent referee, let 'em swing, let 'em breathe, let 'em swing.

Unless you're Terry Halibut and then you're just rubbish.

i wonder who will be reffing us tomorrow now then.
as i seriously doubt they will allow a ref to officiate two games in two days , so who will we get as ref?
