I have deleted the game v FC off my planner now and just wondered what the tackle on Fitzgibbon was like from Webster, Fitz had a few words to say to him plus a push in the back. From what I remember Webster was putting alot of big shots in all game and all looked fair to me.

Anyone shed a bit more light on the tackle?

Can we avoid 'cowardly', 'cheap shot', 'disgrace', 'Tongan mafia', 'hypocrisy' and their synonyms on this thread, please - for the sake of my sanity.

I think he twisted his leg in the tackle, placing pressure onto the joints. Certainly seemed to disgruntle fitzgibbon so it must have hurt.

Thats exaclty what it was i believe. In the wrestle i think he appeared to twist Fitz leg which meant Fitz feeling at his hip. (obviously at his age he needs to be careful with his hips so was understandably upset) :D

Hmm, must surely only be a matter of time before we see a boston crab, sharpshooter or figure-four leglock performed on a rugby pitch. :?

It was a disgraceful, cowardly cheap shot. I hope the Tongan mafia sort him out (legally) in the return. Just shows the hypocrisy in the refereeing.

Oh sorry - you said AVOID
