i'm one of his biggest fans. but he was rovers worst player on the pitch today.. his kicking game was shocking in every aspect (including kicking for touch getting 10 meters). may be too much pressure on him without an experienced no.6, but if they are going to stick with chaz, he needs to step up.. hats of to rovers pack today. all were fantastic against "the best pack in the league" |

To be fair to Dobson our pack was far more dominant in 2nd half and he never got any space or time on the ball. Rovers pack is a worry for them there are very light in there interchange options. Vella struggled all game Newton will be knackered by june he is carrying to many of your forwards. |

How long did Clinton play, he impressed me with his defence though dont recall too much of him attacking wise. If Lauaki is a penalty machine then what is Newton, thought he was very lucky to get the calls from ref in first half during his tussles with Lauaki and if there is any justice he will miss a game for the charge on Tansey. |

Agreed again about our pack too, held its own against F.C's lot, just a shame we cant/dont offload like they do though. |

It was a bad challenge from Newton, needless and i bet your right that hell cop a ban too. |

You would have won with a certain ex-player of both ours and yourselves playing... |

I have not seen the game on TV but from the stand I thought most played well. Against an FC side that I still fancy to win the competition (had a bet on them at the start of the season) Dobson was not at his best & as someone has posted he is maybe taking to much on himself ? Ianson will need more game time but I think we should stick with him. I also think Hodgson will come good later in the season as he gains in fittness at super league level, I do think he should have had a bit more time on the pitch today, My only real worry is Scott Murrel who I realy rate as a Rovers player, but where do you play him? He has a real good rugby brain but he just has no pace, every thing else is there but he is not a hooker except as a stop gap. I think his real value to the club is as a bench player. as he is of use in covering a lot of positions. Finaly I thought Netherton was rightly named as our man of the match he put in a great show today. anyway roll on Monday as I am waiting to see who plays & hopefully pick up a win. Well done FC hope they knock lumps out of Warrington for us. |
