Heard this morning that there are plans in place for Rovers to get £3million from Hull CC, out of the £400million for the development on the new school(s) down Preston Road, as part of a development in school sports (something to do with helping the youngsters when they have P.E. ect.ect.) Anyone heard anything about this, as its the first thing ive heard since seeing the £7million project pictures ages ago. |

I take it that the £400 million figure is a national or regional budget, rather than just for Preston Road? |

Makes sense, it was always going to need funding partners and this seems ideal. |

Seeing as how we've only had maybe two sell-outs in SL so far (and so there's no really need for an increased capacity), can't we just have the 3 million to pay off the debts?! ![]() ![]() |

Makes sense as part of a bigger redevelopment project. Good work by Hudgell and co. |
