Murphy then made a break in the second half and didnt have enough pace to back himself against Clint who had tracked back, and he cut inside. Tbh, i think Colbon might actually be quicker than Fox? He reeled in Eastmond last week, and Did the same last night but i cant remember who he chased down?
'Its like the jungle out there, only the strong survive and the weak get killed off and that's whats happened in Hull. They'll run to the end of the season then that's it, they'll be gone, there will be no more Hull Kingston Rovers there's no room for them.'

Don't know if he's injured or not but I think he needs some specialist coaching.
He's got great explosive pace and power, from five to twenty five metres he's very quick. The problem seems to be in maintaining that, for me he needs to learn to relax and not concentrate too much on being caught whilst still keeping an awareness of where opposing players are.
Most sprinters (and yes I do realise that it's a lot different in boots, on grass and carrying a ball) explode and then try and maintain without dying. Carl Lewis used to say it wasn't about catching people, it was about relaxing and making them come back to you. In the seventies, the Russians used to make sprinters sprint with apples in their mouths to teach them to relax.
I remember Jamie Baulch doing some specialist sprint training at Bradford, I don't know if it was successful or not but I do recall him saying that a lot of players didn't technically know how to run properly.
I don't think that Fox is ever going to be the fastest, there's more to him than that, but I do think he could be quicker.
Having said that, at the moment, he might as well keep his track suit on for the amount of ball he's seeing.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
I think he looks like he's bilked up this year, seems a lot more solid and wondered in game one if it would effect his pace and he seems to have. To be fair to last nights break tho' he was clipped by 2 defenders which will have slowed him before he was eventually caught

It's not atroll at all. I've had plenty of rovers fans tell me fox is lightening quick and he wasn't last night so just asking if he was injured. Perfectly reasonable question
