To be honest I always rated him, but my rovers mate says he is a liability. After viewing the game tonight, I would say I have to agree? Looks lightweight and unable to tackle. Is Ratu a better option for you? |

So you've ALWAYS rated the player but after one performance tonight he now can't tackle and should make way for Ratu. Thats some drop in estimation in eighty minutes. |

For me he has always been a bit over rated by some, mainly due to him coming through the academy. He lacks the pace and size to be a top quality centre, and his defensive decisions leave alot to be desired. For me, Ratu is a better long term option, but just to throw one into the mix, I wouldn't mind seeing Liam Colbon in the centre to see how he goes. He's got the size, is quick over 40 yards. its just whether he'd suit it defensively imo. |

he looked out of sorts last night IMO, Cas had a lot of sucsess down his flank, but weve seen what he can do so hopefully he can et back to tha standard. |

This is the same Kris Welham that so impressed in pre season last year that he got a starting centre spot in competition with a former GB centre is it? Wasn't Ainscough(sp?) playing opposite Webster/Cockayne? It was good to get the result last night, but as a team playing as we did the only other teams we would beat playing like that are Salford, Catalans and Harlequins. There's lots of scope for improvement from all the players. |

Going on what I read and what little I see of him week in week out, yes, he looked alright to me. However I prefer to go on the opinion of people that watch him week in week out and give an honest assessment of a players ability. I was specifically watching his tackling ability and it was rubbish. If that's a blip then so be it. |
