Post subject:  Junior Robins, is it worth while

Hi guys, I have a 3 and 4 year old and was contemplating joining the junior robins. I dont take them yet as they are too young to take interest, but may in the summer once it`s warm. I was just wondering if any of you have any children joined and if so do they enjoy it. How much is it to join them and what are the benifits.

Thanks in advance!

Depends if you're planning on taking then to the events and away matches. My daughter has been a member for about 4 or 5 years now and we always renew, biggest benefit we get from it is the Rovers mum's discount on season passes. Away travel is also very good as its very good value for the kids and its family environment on the coach.

Think its a very good scheme and well run.

Apart from the events and away travel which are both well organised, the main benefit is that your child gets a feeling of belonging and will become a life long Rovers fan.

The only advantage of them joining the Junior Airlie Birds is that Aunty Kath could make them cry themslves to sleep with her face! 8)

To be fair the amount of childish garbage that happens on here I was suprised there was anyone even old enough to have kids!

Was this organisation actually started ?

Is it club inspired or run by supporters ?

Has it proved as succesful as its long running counterpart across the city ?
