As usual, a close game, as usual an away win! Rovers by 4.
looking at the performances last weekend, salford and crusaders will be 2 of the poorer teams in super league this season , a new coach at wigan and looked good last week , rovers light in the forwards and poor recruitment this season ,home advantage has to be wigan by 16 points

You believe too much of what you read. Last season's well-oiled machine didn't need too much tinkering. Our mobile pack will be just fine.

Tough, tough game on Fri, Wigan are going into the game off the back of a good win and a new found confidence by the looks of it. Like ourselves, they never went crazy during the transfer window but they have some good young lads coming through. If we allow Sam Tomkins plenty of space he will punish us! To me it looks like 2 pretty evenly matched teams.
We always play well away at Wigan and I expect the same Friday night!

We're going to need play well. Wigan are a settled side with a lot of players that have got a lot to prove to a new coach.
I wondered what that nagging feeling was, then I realised, the season's started and my natural pessism kicks straight back in!
I fear the worst.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
I think most of the clubs are quite evenly matched this year, so I think home advantage will count for a lot. I would say Wigan are favourites for friday, but we'd probably be if it was at CP. I just hope we build on some very promising signs from sunday.
Looking at the weather reports it would appear the North West is set for the better weather later this week....we could be travelling away from the snow.
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated
