My mate was asking who the highest paid players in SL are (think he’s read an article about Matt Orford).

Obviously no way of proving how much any of these players earn, so just a bit of fun really. This was my guess for the highest earning XIII.

Can anyone do better?

3 Martin Gleeson
4 Matt King
5 Pat Richards
6 Leon Pryce
7 Matt Orford

10 Adrian Morley

Jake Webster must do as well then. Plus Clinton won't have given up £150k a year to get out of his contract and come here for less. :wink:

FC fans in lets high jack a post on the Rovers Forum and talk complete crap shocker. None of you have any proof of anything, but you choose to spout endless crap regardless. It's getting tedious to say the least.

Also considering it lists 2 of our players i think it might warrant some FC feedback!

Oh, and FWIW i'd bet my house on Cookie being on more than Pryce!

IIRC Monaghan was on a similar wage to Matt King. I think it's difficult to say who's on what because I'd have thought as most clubs spend the full cap then clubs top earner will be on a similar amount to another.

It's fairly obvious that the highest earning XIII in Super League is Hull KR, so just list our team. In fact. balls to the list, just ring the RFL Compliance Director and tell him to get his ass over to Craven Park to issue a hefty fine for being twelve times over the cap limit.

Oh, and all Hull's players do it for love and a bag of wine gums.
