I hope the Aussies adopt this suggested rule change and the RFL follow suite.

Yeah i'd go for that, and the feeding the ball at both sides of the scrum, makes sense.

Too much swapping and changing rules going on over the past decade. We have a great game that is hard enough to understand as it is. If we are to change the rules so often how can we expect new spectators to understand what is going on if people i've stood near still dont understand the rules because they've been changed so much!

I would suggest the international comitee, the RFL and ARL sit down together go through EVERY rule and aspect of the game, come up with the clear and defined solution to any niggles and re-write the rules. Once this is done to accomodate the game as it is played today we then stick to those rules for the next 10-20yrs without changing them in any great detail.

Not only would international games be played on a level playing field for every club but there would be more continuity for the officials, coaches, players and supporters alike.

Scrums are still a good way to re-start the game , with some players out of the defensive line.

We need to get back to the days of the proper scrum. If not we may as well just scrap it as it's a joke.

Too right lets get back to whoever feeds doesnt get the head in the scrum.
If that fails we could all have a scrum at one of those adult parties near where you live

On a slightly different tack read that in the forthcoming Australian All Stars game that after scoring a try , the team can elect to attempt score another try in one play instead of going for the two points.
