Inevitably, Fish took the hooking role. Now for 2nd rows, and many options:

Clint Newton, Ben Galea, Michael Smith, Andy Raleigh, Iain Morrison, Jason Netherton are just 6 from recent memory. Its going to be a tough choice.

My 2 would be Newton and Smith, would have been a devestating combination.

Newton and Netherton for me.

Newton because he is simply the best we have had for a couple of decades and Netherton for his 100% do or die attitude and commitment to the cause, the type of player all clubs need to succeed.

Hmm, tough one this, and perhaps influenced by whose going to play at loose froward.

Tempting as Michael Smith is, those type of players have always annoyed the hell out of me. All the talent, little or no application.

Andy Raleigh did a good job for us in that one season and at the time showed quite a lot of skill in scoring a fair few tries, just seems to be used as a very effective tackling machine at Huddersfield.

Jason Netherton I think has been unlucky in getting injured at bad times, in the magical home win against Leeds in 2007 he was fantastic and looked really at home in that company, His development I think, has been stymied due to long periods out.

Morrison good at NL level and very committed, unfortunately for him, the modern game is too much about size and power for him to succeed at SL level.

Ben Galea, seems a great professional, intelligent, quick, good step and excellent defender. However I think his best position is at loose forward giving him a chance to run both channels, more times than not makes the correct decisions about whether to run the ball or pass it.

Newton. Ferocious in attack and defence, capable of lifting the team with a crunching tackle or a barnstorming run down the right hand side (who was the 40 metre try against last year where he seemed to beat half a team, Wire?) a player who plays with great enthusiasm and when you run out with a massive grin on your face you're bound to be a fans favourite. He looks like the majority of us would look like if we'd been good enough!
Just don't ever kick it again Clint!

After all that, I'm going for Newton, Raleigh and despite my frustrations, Smith off the bench.

This is deffo the toughest category to choose from.

Andy Raleigh, Michael Smith and Ian Morrison were exceptional for us in NL1.
Mark O'Neil and Chris Chester were exceptional in 2007.
Galea and Newton have been a revelation since 2008.
Jason Netherton has been the model of consistency throughout all those players stays at the club.

On balance i think i will go for Allan Dunham and Matty Emmerson.

Newton and O'Neil for me, although Michael Smith certainly had some fine games for us. I'm saving Galea for loose man.

Clint because he is quickly on his way to becoming a legend at Craven Park, and Michael Smith because he was a massive player for us (literally) and was a major factor in our promotion his offloads were class!
