On todays performance Long was the better player but had Dobbo been behind Hull's pack I reckom he would have outshone Long. |

You started a thread saying that Morgan will be happier than Agar, and the consensus from people that actually went to the game is that both will draw positives and negatives. You then try some sort of excuse thread about Rovers playing lots of young players. Again, so what? No one is seriously suggesting the result was indicative of anything, and Hull have far more to do with their core first team than Rovers anyway as evidenced by their relative finishing positions last season and changes in personnel. You are now saying that Dobson outplayed Long, an uninformed comment that's been rubbished by your own fans. If you were that bothered, you should have gone to the game and comment on what actually happened rather than replay the ridiculous "Rovers were the moral victors" scenario in your head. Give it up. You lost a friendly, and one that you didn't even attend. |

Long played well enough for me,his leadership on the pitch is what we needed. Dobson is indeed a good player,as you suggest, but I don`t think he put Long in the shade. |
