A non-trolling thread.

Thanks to Hudgell and Morgan for sanctioning this game and giving all available first teamers an appearance at some point.

Thanks to the Rovers team for a thoroughly entertaining game. Honours about even, I'd say.

And thanks to the Rovers fans that turned out in huge numbers. 16,200 must be one of the best testimonial attendances in recent years and the North Stand looked pretty full with your usual vocal support.

Oh, and thanks to the ref for the penalty count. :lol:

17 - 5 in Hull's favour i was told.
Morgan wasnt concerned by it when i spoke to him.

Hull got the result, we got a good pre-season work out & Rich Horne got a decent pay day. Everyone's a winner.

Nice to see Steve Prescott at H-T too.

Seeing as the ref issues probably even themselves out over the season glad we got a caining from the official in a nothing game! 8)

Can't think of a player that deserves an excellent testimonial more than Richard Horne. Hope he's okay after taking a knock. Any news?

I echo the orgainal post. Great atmosphere with loads of good banter for a player that throughly deserves it.

I actually enjoyed the game,testimonials can be dour affairs,often ending in a draw,but both teams were up for it.With all the rotations that were going on,I don`t suppose a true picture can be formed of whats ahead,but commitment was there for all to see.
