It went down to the wire, but for me the correct player won. James Webster is Hull KRs scrum half of the decade.

Now onto props, and plenty to choose from. Some of my favourites include:

Makali Aizue : Blockbusting all action style with the heart of a lion
Richie Hayes : Absolute workhorse
David Luckwell : A big lump of a man, carried men with him when he ran the ball in. Always remember him been set about by 3 swinton players and ending up on the end of a red card.
David Tangata-Toa : Great ball handling forward.

....are just four I can think of.

Makali Aizue has to to be in there, 2003 - 2009 he was a legend
The other slot should go to Mick Vella.

Always thought he was a bit of a plodder to be honest. Remember we signed him and Richie Hayes roughly at the same time, Thompson from Super League/Div 1 Sheffield and Hayes on loan from York Wasps and always thought Hayes was a far better player.

For me Vella has to be the No. 1 choice, the best player of our SL era

Mick Vella has been the best in the last few years, although for contributions right through the decade you have to go with Aizue as well I feel. Some other potential contenders:

Paul Fletcher finished his playing career at prop... Not sure if he would ne a better fit for a team of the 90's though?
Jamie Bovill was a fantastic player for Rovers, first team debut at 16, captain at 18? I think ultimately he started to believe his hype a little too much and thought he was bigger then the club, but I think he deserves a nomination
