Any news of how Chev's getting on after his accident in the game against us last year?
Personally, I've not seen or heard anything since the weeks after it happened. Hope he's on the road to recovery and will make a return. Any of you lot know if it's likely?

According to the local radio, Chev appears to be coming along well, he recently saw his consultant and will have the pins/screws taken out soon and the cage around his leg removed. It is hoped he will be back for Easter.

Great news for Chev and Rovers.

Progress sounds good then, getting the pins taken out is a big step and really helps you mentally as you can actually feel progress is taking place.

All the best Chev hope to see you back playing again. (On the losing side of course ;))

Hope I wasn't the only one to cringe when I read about the pins being taken out! Good luck to him and you lot too for next season. You always have been my favourite side of the city

I was talking to Chev over xmas and he is in really good spirits, working hard in the gym and looking forward to getting the brace off his leg, he reckons he will only miss 4 weeks of the new season which is truly remarkable   Keep up the good work big man

Great news. Good to see him making such a good recovery after a horrendous injury. :)

I think it's probably a case where his mind is now at rest knowing he can show what class player he can be without worrying if his leg is gonna snap any minute - playing with a stress fracture for so long can't have been good for him mentally.

He's a great lad and I'm really chuffed his recovery is going so well. :D
