Quote:1- Shaun Briscoe (62% of the Vote) 2- Luke Dyer (24% of the Vote) 3- Jake Webster (29% of the Vote) 4- Whetu Taewa (41% of the vote) 5- Peter Fox (47% of the Vote) 6- 7- 8- 9- 10- 11- 12- 13- Back five completed, and its good to see representation from the pre Super League days, but obviously the players who have represented us so well in the top flight dominate. Now on to the halves, and for me one of the most difficult choices. At stand off we have some very good candidates. Heres my favourites: Paul Mansson - Still argubly one of the classiest players i've ever seen in a Rovers shirt. Oozed natural ability and could carve defences up at will. A real shame he came to us in the "twilight" of his career. Scott Murrell - Came as a stand off and performed brilliantly in NL1 to help get us promoted and has now developed into a fine player. Stanley Gene - Ive included Stan, as he played the majority of his games between 96 and 2000 at stand off for us and became a cult hero and legend. However I think this status was cemented by his return in SL and he could find a spot in the team in a different position. My choice will be Paul Mansson. The best player never to play Super League. |

Cooke. Even though he has not shone as bright as we might like, he is still the best over the last decade by a mile. Mansson was good, but would not have given us anything at this level. |

Cooke, made the difference between relegation and survival towards the end of our first Super League season in 2007. |

Definitely, 10000% Paul Mansson. Quality player, my favourite ever rovers player, and for what its worth, I would have Paul Mansson in his prime over Paul Cooke in his prime any day of the week. |

Paul Mansson for me, he was a real class act, the way he used to drop his shoulder and go through the gap was class |
