I have managed to get hold of some vintage footage of the day that i thought was worth sharing.
One part includes a 15 minute special of the day. It includes footage of players on both coaches on the way to Wembley, interviews with fans, some of them sadly no longer with us, some who will now be in their 40's 50's, you could be on it. It shows the Humber bridge still under construction, fans on coaches and trains as they make their way to London.
It's a must see for the older fans, Hull and Rovers alike and even for the fans who where but a twinkle in their dads eye at the time.
Even the Mods may happy to view it, so just in case this thread is allowed to stand, i've had to split it in two,i've put it on a well known vid sharing site.

Type in All Hull Let Loose 1980 Part1 and All Hull Let Loose 1980 Part2

Enjoy the journey!

Couple of cracking videos despite the end result.
For those not watching it doesn;t show any of the game just the build up etc.

Some dodgy mullets and even dodgier beer :)

Great that, I've got it somewhere on a DVD but great to see it again. I used to work with the ginger haired lad on the train, and also spotted Harry Coulson who had (I think) Rayners before coming to take over my pub of the time Blue Heaven (Anchor), sadly no more after being destroyed by a fire earlier this year.

Cracking video to watch for supporters of both teams, all ages, whether you were there or not, it was a fantastic day for our City.

Fan no. 1: "One Eddie Waring, there's only one Eddie Waring."

Fan no.2: "There's only one can left!"
