Hi guys. Just a heads-up about an extra Gingerman Rock Revival afternoon this Saturday (19th) at Dram Shop. From 3pm-7pm classic rock and metal will be played, then AFAIK the night will continue at Springbank Tavern with more of the same. |

You see, I remember Quo when they were the band to see, in the words of the prophet the biggest Rock and Roll band in the land. And to me they never went past 1976. That way I can never be dissapointed. Heads down mindless boogie! I'll have some of that! And YOU, my friend, do not know what you are missing. |

You're probably right, before I left Hull I had a mate who's family went to see them every year, without fail, (Jamie Smelt, where are you?) and yes you're correct I don't mind that early stuff. More of a Gil Scott-Heron kinda of a fella me I'm afraid. |

If you ever decide to go to the Gingerman revival let me know and we'll have a chat. I know a few people who go who would be right up your street, music wise. My uncle was a bouncer at Brid Spa so I got to see Quo and others for the price of two pints. |
