I didn't have a great deal to do tonight so i thought i may as well trawl through some RL utube videos, it would be interesting to see what the most popular u tube clips among fellow rovers fans are.
My personal favourite is probably the, raise me up clip as there are some great bits of action from past and present, put together in slow motion and accompanied by the music which in my view, captures the passion and the grace of our great game.
The clip at the very end also holds fond memories for me as i was one of those guys, (in my twenties then,) stood outside the Hull city hall singing and chanting after Rovers historic challenge cup win over Hull at wembley in 1980, the sound and atmosphere that day was truly emence and imo has never been surpassed or even equaled since, it was truly a very special historical occassion.
It would be nice to think such a situation could one day happen again, so that the fans who wern't born at that time or were to young to remember it, could then also sample such a unique and historical occasion, as many of us once did.
