Announced Monday

Everyone I talk to say he is already signed for us subject to visa/work permit been granted, even announced on local radio I believe. Only slight niggle in my mind is that Hull Daily Mail said on Tuesday that the signing would be confirmed by the end of the week and I have not heard of the confirmation yet. I think we are just awaiting the visa stuff before making the definitely signed announcement. Can't really see us been trumped by a team on the decline like Saints.

Why? Are they losing money hand over fist at the same rate you are? Potential signings will look at the stability of the club and wonder if they will be getting paid further down the line.

Yes they are:

Quote:Right, accounts filed for 2008: Leeds is a subsidiary of Caddick, so no separately filed information, but understand they make a profit.

Hull FC PROFIT £185,000

Bradford - Loss £17,000
Warrington - Loss £212,000
Cas - Loss £369,000
Saints - Loss £449,000
Rovers (2007) Loss £478,000
Wigan - Loss £592,000 (although debt they owed being written off of £1,175,000 gave them a net profit of £444,000)
Salford - Loss £832,000 (underwritten by Wilkinson)
Huddersfield - Loss £1,377,000 (underwritten by Ken Davy)
Harlequins - Loss £1,819,000 (underwritten by Lenegan and D Hughes)

Big loss considering they made both Wembley & Old Trafford duing the period.

And have not had to pay for any ground improvements as yet the same as warrington, cas, wigan, salford.hudds and quins but most of them lost more money than rovers

Ok, but they are getting a new stadium which traditionally boosts a teams finances and they still are considered one of the best sides in RL and on that reputation will still attract players over a team with not much to offer like yourselves.
