Just been on RH that Joel Clinton has signed 2 year deal with the option of a 3rd year subject to the usual visa clearence being granted. The club will not confirm this at present but will make announcment later in the week. This is what we all expected to hear and I believe a good signing. |

Don't you know the difference Hull FC - clown in charge, uses magic ink for contracts, does'nt get visas sorted before issuing squad numbers. Hull KR - run by a competent board, use REAL ink for contracts. |

Visa times seem to have come right down since last year - I think players have been waiting between one and three months rather than half a year. Even those timescales are a bit worrying, at best we would see him training with the squad by January at worst it would March. Suppose with a forward it is easier to integrate him than it would be a half back. Hopefully the wheels have been in motion behind the scenes and this can be reduced and we see him in the country to commence training by Jan 4th at the latest. |
