Anyone else heard that you're waiting for the end of the 4 nations to announce 2 prop signings? One aussie and one kiwi I was told but all hush hush and no names

There does seem to be speculation on two more signings. If that is the case can we expect 1 more departure?

If:

Taylor is replacing Esders,
Cook is replacing Gene,
Ratu is indirectly replacing a prop (Walker will play back row when he recovers, filling in for Lovegrove/Netherton who've moved a step inside),
Hodgson is replacing Fitzhenry,
That leaves only one prop unreplaced.
Fair enough, we've lost Fitzhenry's versatility, some aggression at prop and swapped experience for some younger bodies, but we're not short of numbers. The wage bill will be a bit lower currently, but by enough to sign current members of the Oz and Nwz squads?????????

A Super League fit Michael Smith would be a world beater. It's just a shame it will never happen.

Will your recruitment be deemed a success or a failure based on the 2 props that youre going to sign? Serious question.

No, it will be deemed a success or a failure based on next season's results.
