Great idea. Nice to see Rovers putting something back into the amateur game and giving these lads the chance to play against the pro's. Would have liked to see Hull FC do a similar thing but it seems you've beaten us to it. Anyways on last years performances we'd have got beaten and badly. Thorman would have been playing for Pint & Pot next year after been shown up by the amateurs!!! I for one will be at this game for sure, smart move by Morgan I think. The amateur kids will be really up for it and although they won't have the skills or pace to beat Rovers they are likely to physically give them a good workout. Seems KR are making strong bonds with amateur rugby in the city after years of FC having a monopoly over which kids come through. I hear East Hull will be moving from there Rosemead Street base to Craven Park in the near future too. |

It is a good idea and hopefully will see a very decent crowd at a time of the year when fans will be wanting a rugby fix. Another fixture versus Hull with one game each side of the festive season would have been another shot in the arm for the amateur game locally. |

Well thought out money spinner. Well Done. Would be more impressed if money went to amateur clubs and Hull KR's Education and Sports Trust alone. This would then stop idiots pointing out that this is just another result of rovers financial woes and pursuit of much needed cash I am a cabbage |

The goodwill could be immeasurable though. |
