I suppose we could cut our coaching staff and get rid of ten players whilst recruiting only four. Pity the VAT rules aren't changing again because it stops you ripping off your own fans again.

Just wondering where else u can save cash or get some money from?? Didn't justine say that two or three friendlies were more than enough the other year?? And as for the spin on the reason for not going away again.... Class pure class!!! Looks like instead of Dubai it's bob a job round poorhouse lane for your boys this year!![/b] |

I just can't belive the massive u turn justine has made!!! The other year he said two or three friendlies was more than enough and warm weather training was essential??? Why the change of heart is it cash?? |

After playing four friendlies last season and five scheduled for this .....and considering that we are likely to have at least five new players pre 2010 i would have thought it perfectly sensible IMO. And one of those friendlies is for your own player who begged us to play for his testimonial.
Keep clutching those straws if it makes you feel happier. |

We have an extra game this year as we are playing in the RHorne testamonial, add to this 3 runs out against lower league oppo's and a final hit out against a SL team. If the RH game wasn't on then it would be one less game. We didn't do too badly without warm weather training this year, also what good is training in warm weather ony to come back into Hull in feb, never really understood that. Add to that the fact that it does same some cash then surely it makes sense. |
