"Chaz is a good guy to have in the squad. "He can cover a number of positions and do a pretty good job in all of them." Pretty much what I was going to say! I think a year is a good deal for both Rovers and Chaz. I'd give him an incentive to challenge Murrell for 13 (that's if Murrell is 13 next year). |

He's always looked way too slow when he's played at hooker for Rovers, in my opinion. Maybe something for the conditioners to work on with Scott before the start of the season but him losing weight would surely be detrimental to his defence? |

I disagree. He started at hooker in the KC derby earlier this season and had a great game iirc, he was also preferred at hooker in the Leeds play off game til his tooth ache stopped him from playing. IMO he is naturally suited to the position and could well be a great success there. |

I think that Murrell has all the attributes to be a top class hooker. Intelligent ball handler, infectious defender and a good kicking game out of dummy half. If he has international aspirations going forward, which im sure he does, he is far more likely to do it as a 9 than a 13. |

Who will be Hull's specialist hooker, Berrigan (centre,stand-off,scrum-half,loose-forward,hooker) or Houghton the converted scrum half??? ![]() |
