Talking to a mate at a wedding the other week about choice of record Bride and Groom danced to and agreed our music was so much better.

Got us naming (after a few) our top 3 80's tunes (which quickly became a hot topic in the room!)

Mine.

1. ABC - The look of love. Dont ask, just love the hook.
2. Tears for Fears - Everybody wants to rule the World. Great anthem.
3. Spandau Ballet - True. Ok me and the wife danced to this at OUR wedding. :oops:

Got to mention The Cults 'She sells sanctuary'. Extraordinary.

No1 the week my Grandma died. Summed it up perfectly.

Saw Wham in concert christmas 1984 at Leeds. Me, a mate and 9998 screaming women. If only they knew. :lol:

It was not as socially accepted 20 odd years ago, gays where not as camp and open as they now are(some) I have no probem whatsoever which an sexuality, though must admit gutted about Georgy boy though all my young fantasies shattered :cry: :lol:

I have a fair bit of stuff (even vinyl :shock:) surprisingly my 22,18 & 14 year old children love a lot of the 80s stuff, mind you they have not had a choice but to love any music :lol:
