Anyone seen his snips from his autobiography in todays paper?

I personally cant stand the bloke but looks like it will be a very interesting read.

why cant you stand him? not something to do with him signing for hull is it?

heres one name a better english scrum half in the past decade.

It says on the BBC that Wigan made him an offer, but he chose Hull because there would be no pressure to win anything :)

better reason than any!! :lol:

you have, or the bbc, missed a big part of the reason.

to help progress the youngsters.

imo i dont want him just to help hulls youth but all englishs halfs backs, some sort of summer camp would work well.

T.B.H I just couldn't resist it; if he stays fit he's still one of the best genuine scrum halves there is.

the scary part is hes the only one we've got.

I wouldn't have paid that much for him though. From an international point of veiw I think Sam Thompkins is more of a scrum half than a stand off and will move there at some stage.

its all relative.

warrington are not only happy to pay that their also happy to give him the finest development training money can buy!

and by that their sending him to austraila to spend time with andrew johns.

tomkins can develop into a fine off half, but not a 7.

all imo of course,
