Well done to the lad, playing in all 32 matches. I know he makes a few defensive mistakes every now & again but I put that down to being a little over eager. Has come on in leaps & bounds IMO & can only get better. Quality first full season, bit more bulk and will be knocking on the door of international honours IMO, Well done Chris |

Has come on in leaps & bounds IMO & can only get better. Brilliant achievement, not surprised though he came from a very good amaetur set up |

He is doing well, but he will need more than a little 'bulking' up to get international recognition, he is a long way off and would be exposed badly by the Aussies and Kiwis. Maybe in a few seasons time, but at the moment we have several centres in front of Kris at the next level. |

Serious question, do you guys actually think he is a really good player, or do you just like him because he is a local lad and one of the few decent youngsters that you have produced? I ask this because when you compare him with the other young centres in the competition he is avarage at best. |

I love statements like this, similar to the criticism that Morgan got for daring to say he thought we could get to OT prior to the kick off of the season. What exactly would fans expect of a player / coach etc to say when asked what there aims where for the next season. Should Welham have said "I think we'll be worse next year than this, the playoffs will have kileed us, I'd take 6th next year". Or Morgan when asked what his aims are should say "We aren't good enough, bit weak up front, we'll struggle to make the 8" Can imagine what would be said about an unambitious coach / staff would be made after that. |
