We really got bullied at times last night. I just dont think the pack is big and mean enough. I think our forwards are really good, but we do really need a couple of really big nasty bruisers that would bring out the best of the rest of the pack. |

Although I don't want to be too negative after a really enjoyable season with plenty of highs, I have to agree with this. It was exacerbated by low energy levels due to playing 100% from round 1, IMO. A more dominant pack and finding ways to win easy, would be the two big improvements I'd like to see in 2010. Much easier said than done of course, but solving one would go a long way to solving the other at least. |

I tend to agree that we dont have the big hard men that cause havoc in the oppositions ranks like Fecka at Wigan & Crabtree at the Giants. At the start of the season they looked OK but as the season got going & it became evident that the speed of the play the ball was to be slowed down the writing was on the wall, our pack(In my opinion) was put together to play a quick mobile game. You only have to look at the way the Giants went through us twice. It is all part of Justins learning curve. But hey I have enjoyed the season & they have achived more than I thought they would & am looking forward to next year. |

The other problem is of course finding this type of player. Feka can be effetcive as proved against us at the weekend , but this can be countered by the short stints he plays and the fact that he can be targetted in defence by quick players. Noble of course is a decent coach and generally introduces him at the right stage to gain some advantage. |
