This was posted on the hull forum. Can anyone help ? Could any of you nice people possibly help with a little problem I have. A couple of weeks ago my good friend Neil bought me one of those Sat Nav things that help you get to places without getting lost. We've entered the directions for Old Trafford, Manchester into it and Neil,I and a few other friends set off on our journey last Friday night. But tonight we've come to a grinding halt. Instead of finding ourselves on the road to Old Trafford, we appear to have driven straight into a dead-end. Now we are lost and don't know how to get out. It must be the Sat Nav which is faulty, It can't possibly be something Neil or I have done wrong because we are sooooo perfect in every way. We did stop and ask someone for directions, a man called Silverwood I believe, but he was most unhelpful, in fact he just put more obstacles in our way. Neil said he couldn't understand it as Mr Silverwood had been a great help to us in July when we were having all sorts of problems with some bigger richer neighbours of ours. So now we're all lost and I don't think we are going to make it to Manchester in two weeks time. Even the 12 page all colour pull-out from our local paper can't get us out of this predicament. So my only hope is you, my dear friends and neighbours, do any of you know how to work these Sat Nav's and help us get to the destination. I can be contacted at work anytime during the week as I'm not going to be very busy from now. Thanking you in advance J.Morgan, Caravan Park, Poorhouse lane. |
