Best decision for both Stan and Rovers, in my opinion. I'd love to see Stan stay at the club in some capacity but if he wants to keep playing then maybe an NL1 team will be interested.

as it said on hdm website he's interesting fev rovers.....ive got a very good freind involved at fev and i got told it was a near-done deal....
would be a great signing for them.....

This must be why the timing of this announcement has been made, would expect him to make an appearance on the pitch on Saturday whether in the squad or not.

Will always be a legend, but the time is right for him to step down, wonder if he'll get the PNG job next time its available.

yeah stan and makka have done a lot for the club over the years and are a big reason we are how we are now, along with a lot of people who have been forgot over the last few years.
