Do you think we will see the same again with Chev Walker? He could potentially be out for the whole of next season, and is OOC at the end of it. I know its early days, and we dont know what the prognosis is, but, I for one, would not be surprised.

The most important thing at the minute is to make sure Chev gets the best treatment possible and his every need is cared for by the club. The last thing anybody at the club will be thinking about is getting rid, all the best Chev, good luck in your recovery

He is not taking up a quota spot and i would assume insurance is in place to cover his wages for the length of time he is injured.
So no need for them to let him go until they are 100% sure about his future.

He did suffer the injury at work so maybe he needs a good ambulance chaser.

BTW Hope his recovery goes well

Unfortunatly,it is an unknown quantity.
A few years ago Ian Knight who was playing for Sheffield Wednesday had a similar injury. He recovered, came to play for Grimsby, and broke it again. It finished his career.Hope the same doesnt happen to Walker.

bloody hell, hes suffered an horrific injury less than 24 hrs ago and now your ready to throw him in the offal bin

bet he'd be really chuffed to read this drivel

he needs support right now from the club, fans and family not a threat of being booted out, very loyal i must say

Where has anyone stated that this is what they want to happen?

Legitimate question really, could probably of waited 48hrs or so though.

Think the extent of the injury needs to be known before any decision are made, this will probably be a week or two.

Until then Chev will need the support of those around him and the club.

Absolutely horrific.
