The best try was Jakes in the cup quarter final or the whole set of 6 which led to back to back trys against Saints at home recently in which I think Cockayne burst through and put Fitzy in.
The best try against us was Raynors at CP

Which tries would you say is Rovers best try and which one has been the best one scored against us? The one that stands out for me against us was the Tom Briscoe try at the KC Stadium, a really slick handling super try with that kick over by Yeaman timed to perfection. Strangely I think the best try we've scored was in the friendly against Warrington when Welham rounded about 5 players! Or even when Cockayne out paced the whole Warrington team in a 90yrd dash! Not sure a friendly should count but those two tries were fantastic to watch! |

Steve Hartleys try V Saint Helens 1977 floodlit cup, great interplay between Hall and Smithy, I was stood under the Dogs Result board, bit like the current south stand (I know the O/P said of the year but didn't state which )

For me it's either Webster in the CC QF v Warrington, or Fitzhenry against Saints a few weeks back (started by Wheeldon). |
