Will not know until Friday / Saturday if I can get away in time to travel from Warrington, so can't get ticket in advance. Will I be able to pay at the door?

I'd have thought so. You lot usually travel well, but a week after a trip to London? Probably difficult for some.

You'll definitely get in The South Terrace, which as you'll probably know is the worst view in the history of World sports (and I include getting stuck at the back behind a tall bloke at The Ben Hur All Roman Chariot Championships AD 41 in that) so it's best to get there early and get in the North (golf) Stand.

you'll be able to pay on the gate, north or south stand... no question about it.

The Golf stands not as bad as some of you make it sound tbh.

The Golf stand is the North stand mate, is the south 'stand' thats the problem.

Try to get in North Stand , South Stand is pants , very poor view, you might even get in the well ( Roger Millward Stand) if it isnt sold out, which due to it been on Sky it may well not be, safe journey over.

Its not bad now they are giving those little opera bino's out
