Post subject:  Webster
When we first signed him last season he exploded with his brace at Headingley.

Since then he has drawn much more attention from the opposition defence. This means his attacking opportunities are limited but he is now much more than just an attacking force, he is a giant in defence.
Some of the tackles he makes and his reading of the game is incredible, hes a beast!

as the sts commentator on sltv highlights says "he`s a big man and would take ten of them to stop him"

another laugh from that commentator is when foxy goes in for his try "he screams knock on" even though you could quite clearly see it was knocked out of a rovers hand by a sts player

quality commentating almost a match for eddie and stevo and of course wigan man clarkey

I hear people saying that Jake Webster is going home at the end of this season.

If so he seems determined to leave on a high note.

That would seem a loss,from what I have seen of him,(mostly on the telly) he seems to be a handfull.

Jake is going nowhere, he loves it at Rovers, I spoke to him after yesterdays game and he seemed well happy :lol:

First i've heard that one, spoke to his dad some time ago when he came over to watch jake play and he commented that jake loves been at Rovers.
I think he will be around for quite some time to come. :)
