I have posted a thread before about my position within Goodwin Development Trust, where i help small businesses with any problems they have to help them survive or to aid them in any way.

The local work guarantee scheme is one such initiative. Many times I visit a company and they have a job in the business that needs doing, but they cannot afford to take a member of staff on so end up doing the job themselves, often neglecting other jobs. With the LWGS, we can provide a member of staff FOR FREE, for upto 13 weeks. If the company decides that this member of staff would be suitable for employment, then you can receive a weekly wage supplement for 9 months!! This would help the company through the current climate, and also help the local economy by employing a local person.
