And im not on about a change of chairman at Gateshull.
Just watching the derby again for a laugh, and Tansey attempts to trip Dobbo as he goes in for his try , he goes in with both feet and also attempts to trip Webbo going in with both feet when he scored his try to seal another victory for us, i remember Radders tripping ( not acid) at last seasons derby ,and also against when Gateshull played Bradford away last season , can anyone enlighten me to when & why this rule was changed because a trip or attempted trip used to be a straight red card ?

tansey was given a warning about his technique (or a letter) can't remember which, it was on humberside and in the mail on the tuesday or wednesday after the game.
They changed the automatic red card for tripping a few years back, it was one of those were you don't remember at the time the rule was changed but I remember phil clarke banging on about it in a sky commentary one night.

I remember a certain Liam Colbon doing it to Briscoe last year in the 18-12 defeat by Wigan!

In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.
When referring to the atmosphere of the HJ...

Shame it doesn't keep the sound like the full east stand of HKR. That's atmosphere.

Just before half time he went for it? 12-6 down and blitzed into a 24-12 lead. 12 v 13, sensational stuff. Probably not seen a performance like it since.
Mike Smith was electric. Leeds didn't know what hit them! 24-24.
17-0 replay, Fairburn opening the scoring with a drop goal.
Marvellous.

And don't forget the extra 8,000 there for the replay only a few nights later
Couldn't believe the RFL doing that to us, making us go to Leeds twice in 5 days when Boothferry Park could have been used
Still, happy days, well at least until the final That final was the last one without one of the 'top 4' teams not appearing in the final until this year
