Hmmmm... Not been as good this year i dont think, but he is still a good player, and maybe more importantly, he's British. |

Contracted until end of 2010 and testimonial next year IIRC. I'll believe this one when I see it. |

I think his wage demands would probably price him out of Rovers tbh. I think we are fine with Fisher and Fitz and if Fitz does leave I think we should be looking at bringing an academy player through there, or maybe even using Cockayne in that role. I don't personally see the point in having two senior specialist hookers in there, we should use the opportunity to bring somebody through the ranks. Fisher is a very good hooker and, in my opinion, not a player we need to be replacing in the near future. I think there are plenty of other positions on the pitch that could do with being strengthened before we prioritise a new hooker. |

I would say its the main position we need to strengthen and not one that should be taken lightly with stopgap players. |

The Diskin rumour has been doing the round for months i very much doubt it will happen in all honesty. If Rovers are looking for a back up hooker they have an ideal replacemnt much closer to home and he's available. |

Hasn't Danny Buderus just broken his leg? I can't see Leeds letting Diskin go when it will take time for Buderus to get back to full fitness. |
