I find it a bit worrying that we now have 3 of the 5 worst offenders in SL

4 of the top 6. Welham doesnt surprise me. I think in Scotts case its because he is involved in ALOT of tackles. http://www.superleague.co.uk/statistics ... 9&hp2=1720

Don't you find it worrying though Alex, at the start of the season our defence was on of our strong points, but as was shown up in the Hull game, we tend to not complete tackles and let teams offload, you look at Hudds three men in and one at a time off, giving plenty of time to get set, we have 1 or 2 in, everyone retreats to set, then an offload, then missed tackles as the defence is all over, all my opinion of course.

Both Scott and Ben Galea miss about 10% while Kris and Dobbo are 17% and 21% respectively.

I quite agree, in the first half of the season teams really had to work to beat us and hardly anyone scored more than two tries at Craven Park. If we tighten our defence up again we could be a real threat, as it is we appear to have shot our bolt and don't seem capable of the exceptional performances we have seen earlier this year.

Welham, galea and murrell have been in the top ten most of the season I thought.

Agreed.

The defence against Bradford in the first game, you could relax when they were on our line because you knew we would defend it.

It was immense, now we look increasingly stretched at times.
