With the good news that the World Cup is coming to our shores in 2013 would it be an idea for Rovers to try and host a game? Now before all the Hull fans tell me we have the worst stand in the entire world at our stadium, im thinking more of what Craven Park could be like in 2013, we could easily have increased the capacity by then and have a better road infrastructure. Now im not by any means saying we should host one of the top games with England, Australia or New Zealand but if we could host a group game between some of the smaller nations I think it would be great for the East Hull community.

Would 10,00 go to watch a game like Samoa v PNG though? this is my point, a smaller ground for a smaller fixture and give the clubs with smaller grounds a chance to be involved in the event.

He didn't even read your original post, he's far too "sofistyicated" for that.

I dont see why not but.....did you get a point in the franchises for the stadium being able to host an International game? Or something like that? Would be a bit hypocritical to not give you a point for it and then host a game there

The point was not for being able to host any international. Come the WC in 2013 I doubt CP will resemble what it does today and should be more than suitable for a PNG v Samoa game. Putting bias aside for a moment (if you can), do you think a PNG v Samoa game at CP would be better than one being held at any other of the smaller grounds, I doubt 1,000 would turn up at Wakey or Quins, I am sure more Rovers (and FC fans who are not as bigotted) would support such a fixture.
