How awesome has he been this season, missed him while he was injured. Whats the crack with the quota thingy with him cos i reckon we absolutely need to keep him no matter what!!

not sure what he counts as. but he is more important than stan, fitz, or makka so if they need to be let go to make room. so be it..

from what i understand he becomes a overseas player for next season we'd be daft to let him go

Last year i thought he was quite lazy and didnt really do much, but this year he's like a totally different player, thinks he's been awsome and fully deserves a new contract. Anyone know when his currant contract expires??

iirc, there was an interview (in RRR, perhaps?) in which he said there were no quota issues impeding a new contract. As he was in SL before Feb 2008 and has a UK passport, that sounds right to me.

I certainly hope so! He's been a revelation in the front row. I'd hate see us lose Rhys at the end of this year, especially if Makali goes too.
