There is nothing unique to Rovers about 'finding' something to celebrate. Hull fans are always going on about reaching finals, in which they have a proud record - as they don't often win them. Cas have never won the league, so I'm sure they focus on their Challenge Cup triumphs all the more. Supporting most clubs would be just too grim, for most folks, without 'fan auto-enhance'.
I agree but getting to a major final or winning the CC is hardly comparable to winning a league fixture, regardless of who it is against.
Just have a look around and see what other fans say about Rovers supporters, it says it all really.
I cant help but think a lot of people are putting themselves on a nice shelf to be shot at in a few weeks time when Rovers win nothing, which they wont because if you take your red and white glasses off they are playing some awful RL at times.
Each to their own I guess.
