OOC at the end of this season and deffo worth a new deal imo. Was very good for Quins the other night scoring a try as well as saving a couple at the other end. He has a tremendous work ethic and can clearly play at this level.

Thoughts??

Always thought he had a lot of potential, and should've got a chance here especially considering Galea and Newton have looked in need of a rest in recent weeks.

The only way these lads are going to become super league players, is by playing super league rugby. Morgan took a chance with Welham and it paid off, I'd like to see him do that more often.

He looked the part for Quins - a couple of slight and understandable misunderstandings with his new team mates apart. If we are going to keep him, we have to be willing to play him, though - others have have been preferred when injuries might have given him an opportunity.

And one sub appearance isn't really enough to earn a new deal for a player of his age. If it was a straight choice between him and, say, Netherton, I'd have to go with the latter and promote another player from the academy/U21.

If Quins offer Esders a deal, it might be better for his career than staying with us - especially with Scott Taylor also being a 2nd row.

Not seen enough of him to really base a firm opinion on if he is worth a new contract. I wasnt really impressed with the small role he played in the first team earlier on this season, so I would like to see how his loan spell goes before deciding on his future.

He's well worth a new deal if on potential alone...

I saw him last season for York and he was great (yes i know its only Co-Op 1)...i think he plays in the Gilmour mould, in that hes comfortable in the second row or centres...

Of course.... but i dont know every players age Gord!

***but ive now checked and hes only 23***

worth a chance, depending on the amount he wants as he will only be a squad player - but i think Quins will offer him more money!
