Who knows, but it will be interesting to see how the 50:50 decisions go. Anything contentious going to Leeds will only prompt our fans to give him a full volley. It'd also be interesting to know how JM's barrage will have affected his decision making. Anything goes with Thaler. He used to be a decent ref, but has been in decline this year and last. |

TBH im more worried about Leeds than i am about Ben Thaler, dont lay on in the tackle and he cant do you, dont stray offside and he cant have you |

course i have, and personally i think hes top class ( compared to Tierry Halibert anyway ) what im saying is you cant go into a game worrying who the ref is, youve just gotta play to your game plan and HOPE hes gets his side of things right |

The thing is regardless of how he refs he will get abused by our lot, I've seen decent referees with no history with us get absolutely slaughtered by our fans for penalising our players for ill discipline. We have a fair few who see no wrong in our play and scream for invisible offences against the opposition. Hopefully he has a better game then he has previously but if we lose I can guarantee it'll be his fault regardless of the circumstances. |
